Shingai Shoniwa embraces her Zimbabwean and Bantu heritage in new music.
The musician is more widely known as the lead singer of the band the Noisettes
UK based musician Shingai Shoniwa says her music as a solo artist which she has been performing at London events focuses more on her African heritage.
The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) is underway in Rwanda’s capital Kigali the agenda includes climate change, poverty and food insecurity.
And in Cameroon’s Far North Region climate change is amongst the factors blamed on dwindling water resources which have caused conflicts between herders, farmers and fishermen competing for scarce resources.
