Ethiopia: MSF warns of a growing food crisis

The medical charity, MSF, warns of a growing food crisis in Ethiopia’s north-eastern Afar region and says significant parts of the population there do not have the necessary means to survive.

The Nigerian authorities say they suspect the extremist group Islamic State West Africa Province carried out the deadly attack that killed at least 40 people on Sunday in Owo, Nigeria's Ondo state.

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa was disrupted by Members of the Economic Freedom Fighters as he tried to table the budget vote of his office in parliament today. This is due to reports of an undeclared robbery at his farm two years ago where millions of dollars in cash were stolen.
