Humanitarian crisis in the Horn of Africa

The Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Mr Jagan Chapagain is visiting Kenya to draw attention to the hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa which experts say have been overshadowed and exacerbated by the Ukraine crisis.

And authorities in Nigeria have suspended river boat services in an area in the northwest of the country where at least seventeen people died in a boat accident earlier this week
