Millions of mangrove trees to be planted in Mozambique
Mangroves are key in the defence against the climate crisis.
Up to 100 million trees are to be planted in Mozambique's dwindling mangroves, in a conservation deal between the southern African nation and mangrove reforestation specialists Blue Forest. Pan-African lawyers have told the AU to prioritise Ethiopia's civil war, accusing the Government of atrocities against Tigrayans and calling for dialogue.
