DR Congo data leak: Millions transferred to Joseph Kabila allies
Joseph Kabila was president of DR Congo from 2001-2019.
Companies owned by family and friends of former Democratic Republic of Congo President Joseph Kabila had millions of dollars of public funds funnelled through their bank accounts, according to Africa's biggest data leak. The government of Djibouti says the year-long war in neighbouring Ethiopia has had a drastic impact on its economy. South Africa's state-owned electricity provider, Eskom, says it's found clear evidence of sabotage at one of its power plants.
