Attempted coup in Sudan

Government and military sources say the coup was foiled, and several arrested.

There's been a coup in Sudan, but government and military forces say the attempt was foiled and 40 officers are now in custody, being interrogated.

Also, Burundi's government has vowed to find those behind a series of explosions which rocked the capital.
