The former President has urged the courts to block a midnight deadline for his arrest.
South Africa’s former president Jacob Zuma has urged the courts to block a midnight deadline for his arrest. Mr Zuma has been sentenced to 15 months in jail for contempt of court.
And, Zambia’s founding president Kenneth Kaunda has been laid to rest in a state funeral today. His burial in the capital, Lusaka, ends a 21-day period of national mourning.
