The African Union has threatened to impose sanctions on Mali after second coup

In a statement the African Union called for a return to a civilian government in Mali and has threatened to impose sanctions and other punitive measures.

In Uganda forty-four people were arrested after a raid at an LGBTI+ youth shelter in Kampala. The Human Rights Awareness and Promotion Forum say officers raided the shelter during a party.
