The AU has suspended Mali after last week's military coup and threatened sanctions
Mali has been suspended by the African Union after last week’s military coup. The suspension is the second in nine months. The AU has called for a return to a civilian government in Mali
In Tanzania mobile courts have been introduced in a bid to reduce the backlog of legal cases waiting to be heard, some up to five years. Vehicles fitted with monitors and audio recording equipment can now also take legal teams to rural areas.
