
Ghana students win dreadlocks case against school
The Rastafarian students took school to court for demanding they cut off their dreadlocks.
Tyrone Marhguy and a fellow pupil took Achimota Secondary School to court for refusing to admit him and another Rastafarian student in school because of their dreadlocks. The High Court ruled in their favour and ordered the school to allow the two boys in class.
Gunmen attacked Ugandan Transport Minister and former army commander, Gen Katumba Wamala, killing his daughter and driver.
