Investigation into house fire deaths near A66 crash

Police on Teesside are investigating a house fire which killed Natalie McDonalds and her 7-year-old niece Valentina Foster in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The house, near Grangetown near Middlesborough, is only around two miles from the fatal crash on the A66 which killed two police officers and five other people at the weekend.

Middlesborough correspondent Alison Freeman says two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the fire.
