Southend writer revives Bergerac

The classic 1980s TV detective series Bergerac has been re-imagined for a new series. The man tasked with reviving show, more than 30 years after the original ended, was Southend-born Toby Whithouse, whose credits also include Doctor Who and Being Human.

Series 2 of the revival begins on U&Drama on Thursday April 16th.
