Suad Bushnaq: 'music is an act of resistance' in Syria
Suad Bushnaq is not Syrian - although her mother was born there - but she lived there for four years and the country has had a profound impact on her life and on the music she composes. One of her compositions even features strings recorded in Damascus during the war.
