Forty Hits of 1986 at the BBC

Forty classic hits from 1986 taken from the BBC's archives. With Wham! wrapping things up, artists such as George Michael, Simply Red, Samantha Fox and Jermaine Stewart found success, while the synth sounds of bands like the Pet Shop Boys, A-ha, Eurythmics and Erasure were everywhere.

But the charts still had plenty of room for lots more, including a musical bar of soap from Nick Berry with Every Loser Wins and plenty of Eurotrash in the form of Falco, Nana Mouskouri and even the band called Europe, blasting out their Final Countdown.
