Welsh-Cornish musician Gwenno is in to talk about her love of her hometown of Cardiff with Emily Pilbeam and Emily meets Guto from the celebrated grassroots venue Clwb Ifor Bach.
Cardiff and South Wales are home to an incredible array of musicians from Cerys Matthews and Super Furry Animals to the Manic Street Preachers and adventurers in sound such as Cate Le Bon and Gorky's Zygotic Myncis. Gwenno is one of the UK's most acclaimed live performers in an intimate concert space and she cut her teeth in Cardiff at the pioneering Clwb Ifor Bach. Emily Pilbeam chats to Gwenno and meets Guto from Clwb Ifor Bach to hear all about the music of South Wales and find out why Cardiff is such a musical city.
