Stephen joins officers as they storm a flat for a drugs raid. Nigel and Adam are thrust into a rapidly escalating incident – a volatile man is resisting arrest.
Acting on a tip off, the Peelers storm a city centre flat on a drugs-bust. Inside, a suspect is startled as he is immediately cuffed and arrested while outside, the PSNI team search the nearby streets for the suspected big-time dealer they think may have fled the scene with more drugs.
On Great Victoria Street in Belfast city centre, police attempt to arrest a man who refuses to comply with a search. The situation quickly escalates and he is detained by a number of officers who use a spit guard and leg restraints. The man is taken into custody where he continues to kick off. Officers and custody staff surround the man in his cell as they try to get him under control. Later, Stephen interviews the Deputy Chief Constable, Bobby Singleton and questions him about some PSNI tactics and officers’ use of force.
