There’s no time for horsing around as two teams canter through an antiques fair at Wetherby racecourse in West Yorkshire. In red, and saddling up for some fun, are sisters Sharon and Hayley, with their expert Charles Hanson. On the blue team, brothers Harley and Joe are paired with expert Philip Serrell.

With one hour on the clock, the reds close in on an item that’s on their shopping list – an enamelled scent bottle – but they turn their noses up when they learn the best price. Over with the blues, Phil tries to spice things up with a silver nutmeg grater. Sadly, the three-figure price tag puts them off, so they stop to consider another important question – which sauce they prefer on their chips! Meanwhile, Danny Sebastian is dishing up a challenge for fairgoers, asking them to identify a mystery metal object. It’s silver-plated with a plunger at one end and a perforated acorn-shaped bowl at the other. What could it be?
