The King's younger son, Prince Harry, and his wife Meghan are planning to move back to the UK later this month.

The pair, who have two children, have been living in the United States since they stepped down as working royals six years ago.

They're expected to move into a non-royal residence outside London, and there are no current plans for either to return to their roles as working royals.

Their children are due to start at a UK school in September.

When Prince Harry and Meghan got married on 19 May 2018 it was a huge event, live on TV.

The couple were popular with the public, and had several successful Royal tours abroad including one in Australia.

But towards the end of 2019 Prince Harry and Meghan started to speak publicly about some of the struggles they were facing by being under the media spotlight.

Soon after this in January 2020 the pair announced the news that they had decided to step back as senior working royals.

No change is expected to the official status of Prince Harry and Meghan and they will remain as private individuals.

There are no current plans for either to resume their roles as working Royals.

The family were in the UK over the summer, spending time with the King and the family of Harry's mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.

Daniela says: "The children met their aunts, uncles and cousins. The visit to Europe, which included time in Portugal, where they have a home, was described to me as "such a great time" for the family. It turned a possible move back to the UK into a firm decision.

"I am told that this move is not due to any problems in the US. It has been driven by the couple's desire to spend time in Europe, nearer Harry's family and wanting to educate their children in the UK."

The exact location where the family will live hasn't been revealed, but it's understood they will not live in London.
