Rainy days are perfect for arts and crafts!

We've got loads of ideas for fun stuff you can do inside:

  • Who doesn't love gooey, gross slime? It's super easy to make from your very own home.

  • If camping has been rained off, why not build your own den indoors, using pillows, blankets and anything you can find?

  • Or if you're a big fan of books, you could spend some time reading. Don't worry if you're not too sure what book to start with, here's some ideas!

  • And don't forget the classic games! Like hide and seek indoors, playing a board game or putting on some music and having a dance party!

So you want to go outside even if it's raining? Here's some wet day ideas!

You might need waterproof gear but getting outside, even in the rain, can be fun!

Failing all of that, getting outside in nature is important for both physical and mental health, whatever the weather - as long as it's safe to do so!

So with the right waterproof gear and as long as your parent or guardian is with you or knows where you are, you can still head outdoors.

Here's some ideas:

  • Go for a walk

  • Go on a scavenger hunt: Look for pine cones, daisies, pebbles, and dandelions in your garden or on a walk

  • Try birdwatching: Watch and listen for birds and see what you find!

  • Play in your local park or garden

And what about if the weather is fabulous where you are?

  • Have a picnic

  • Ride your bike

  • Play games outdoors like tag, football or hide and seek
