- The larger parties in Scotland spoke about how they would tackle child poverty and whether they thought the King and Queen should still go to meet Donald Trump in the US following a shooting incident
- Scottish Greens co-leader Ross Greer was in Glasgow to talk about a pledge for a new “banker tax” on £1m business properties
- Russell Findlay, the leader of the Scottish Tories, was also in Glasgow but his focus was the SNP's "out of control" benefits bill
- In Ardrosssan, Scottish Lib Dem leader Alex Cole-Hamilton was setting out how his party would fix the "SNP’s ferries fiasco"
- Thomas Kerr from Reform UK said Scotland's priority today was migration, saying Glasgow was at "breaking point" due to mass illegal migration
- The priority for Scottish Labour was their plans to improve the lives of women in Scotland, set out by Anas Sarwar in Cumnock
- SNP leader John Swinney said his party would bring forward a Holyrood vote on holding a second independence referendum on the first sitting day of the Scottish Parliament
