Tuesday could be even hotter for many of us.
Temperatures will once again soar into the high 20s and low thirties with a possibility of approaching, even exceeding 35C in south-east England. A new May record could be set again.
It won’t be hotter though for parts of north-east England and eastern Scotland where a breeze off the North Sea will cool things down.
And, while there’ll be a lot of strong sunshine again, with a bit more moisture in the atmosphere, we could see a few very localised showers or thunderstorms developing in parts of northern England, East Anglia or southern England.
That brings our live coverage to a close, thanks for reading.
