  1. Two primary age pupils with their backs to the camera, standing in a grassy area with railings beyond, and then a road, a parked van, and houses. One of them, a girl with her hair tied back, in a black coat, is pointing the camera of a smartphone at a QR code on an orienteering control point in the form of a rectangular orange and white sign attached to the vertical post of a much larger sign. The boy beside her is also looking carefully at the smartphone screen.

  3. Cumwhinton railway bridge near Carlisle, looking across the bridge from one side. The bridge is now a road, with a white dashed line down the middle and a kerb on the left hand side. There are stone walls at the edge of the bridge, and below it you can see the railway track and the surrounding area is very green with large trees.

  4. Murky brown flood water on railway tracks. There are trees and bushes on either side of the four lines which stretch very straight into the distance.

  5. An image of a train crossing the Royal Border Bridge over the river Tweed in Berwick

  6. A red sign with white lettering that reads 'road ahead closed' in block capital letters. The sign is on a metal A-frame and is positioned on a grass verge at the side of a road.

  7. A blueprint of the designs for the revamped walking areas in the Sandgate area of Penrith. The designs show people walking on a widened pavement and road with 20mph speed limit pasted on the ground. The image is produced in the style of pretty basic computer graphics and doesn't seem to show any great innovation. There is a zebra crossing in the bottom left corner, otherwise no actual crossing points which suggests the plan is to have vehicles going slower and potentially having to stop in one direction at a junction.

  8. A brick retaining wall on the A684 at Smorthwaite which has partially collapsed. The wall also includes a culvert, with an arched structure. There is moss on part of the wall and bricks on the ground.

  9. A group of five people stand in front of a white fence at Penrith Train Station. Behind them are planters in wheelbarrows containing herbs, a sign with an illustration of a bee on it and a bicycle with a painted panel that reads 'Penrith of Cumbria' with a red heart.

  10. Two ferrets are being held by a person. The ferrets have bright black eyes and a pink nose. The ferrets have a black fur chest and paws. They are being held in front of a brick house.

  11. Entrance to the West Cumberland Hospital. The two-storey block has floor to ceiling windows and a sign above the automatic doors with the name of the hospital. The sign is blue with white lettering. There are buildings attached to either side of the entrance block. A green and white sign next to the path leading to the entrance indicates this is the main entrance.

  12. A stock image of a police officer pictured from behind. They are wearing a yellow high visibility jacket with police written on the back in silver over a blue background.

  13. The body of a JT Leyland lorry trailer, which is dirty grey with red and black lettering - red for the letters "JT" and black for "LEYLAND" and the smaller words Milnthorpe Cumbria underneath. Over the "L" of "Leyland" is a small white St George's flag with a red cross. The trailer is parked at the side of the road, with faded double yellow lines next to a concreted yard.

  14. Two men in police uniform are standing in front of a parked lorry cabin, which is white and unmarked, and indeed towers above them. The men wear white police caps and vests with walkie-talkies attached to them, alongside various other pieces of equipment. One has a long, ginger beard, whereas the other is clean shaven. They both have their hands behind their backs as they smile beningly. Either side of the lorry are regular, marked police cars.

  15. A group of celebrities run away from a fake shipwreck which has lots of ropes holding it up. It is a TV challenge and the participants are wearing black wetsuits with their name tags on them.

  16. A stock image of a student sat in a classroom looking at their notebook, which has graphs, notes and geometrical shapes written down. The student is pictured from behind, with a hand holding a pen on their notebook. Three students are sat in a row in front, on blue plastic chairs.

  17. Paul Kerry wearing a purple jumper smiling with his left arm around the back of his daughter Sidney. She is wearing a headband with rabbit ears on her head and has glasses on. She is wearing a pink coloured long sleeved top and is smiling. They are in the garden with a view towards the sea behind them.

  18. Rydal Mount is a white, two-storey house. Part of it is covered by purple shrubs and green fern growing along the entrance. A white bench and chair are outside the house, which is surrounded by trees.

  19. Dozens of people are sitting in a church hall and looking up at a screen which is displaying an annotated map. The screen is on a stage and there are lights overhead. The interior of the church has tall arches and arched windows.

  20. Six women in swimwear pose for a group selfie in front of a lake. They are all smiling. There are mountains and hills in the background.

  21. An exterior view of Ulverston Market Hall, a red brick building with white lintels and a blue circular plaque next to the door. Faded white text above the entrance reads 'Market Hall'.

  22. A barn owl chick, with white fluffy feathers. It is being held in a man's hand and is looking straight ahead through dark eyes.

  23. An old black and white photo of the first ever Royal Navy submarine, HMS Holland 1. A 63 foot-long cigar-shaped submarine emerges from the waves. In the background you can see the coastline, cliffs and a small boat.

  24. Two people are clearing out a room by moving cardboard storage boxes. Piles of boxes, paper and other bags are dotted around the room. The far wall is covered in doodle designs.

  25. The inside of a library. There are two small book cases in the foreground, more like a sales stand in that they are triangular and allow books to be shown with the covers facing out. A large wall-to-wall shelf unit stands behind them, all full of books and with red signs above denoting subject areas. There are two green pouffes in the room, which has white walls and grey patterned carpet.
