Skateboarding diplomacy in Havana

On Friday US Secretary of State John Kerry arrives in Cuba to official open the long-shuttered US embassy in Havana.

It's the highest-level visit from a US diplomat since Fidel Castro came to power in 1959.

It is a huge moment but for many on the island, particularly young people, the thaw with the US hasn't yet made any difference to their lives.

One Washington-based non-profit, Cuba Skate, is working to improve conditions for young Cubans - not through talks but by building a park in a city where skateboarding is frowned on.

Will Grant went to visit Cuba Skate's park.
