Voices: Turning words into action
Pupils show off their book

Religious Education in action

Paul O'Neill visits Vickerstown Primary School, where the youngsters get a chance to find out about the diverse faiths in other parts of the country.

The pupils show off their book about the trip.

Teachers at Vickerstown Primary School on Walney Island make sure that religious education isn't limited to Christianity.

Every year, a group of the older pupils go to Bradford to visit different places of worship and talk to people about their faiths.

The children look forward to this highlight in their school calendar and their parents believe it is a real eye-opener.
