Voices: Turning words into action
Carole Barry

Meet Carole Barry.

She will run in this year's London Marathon.

Carole Barry

Carole, who's a Special Needs Teaching Assistant at Walney School, has arthritis, but she's determined to run the whole course on Sunday 13 April 2003.

It's not the first time she's run the London Marathon, and Carole loves the atmosphere... as she told Paul O'Neill.

Congratulations!

"I've had lots of support from people since the interview and congratulations. Raised over £500 for Arthritis Care Barrow Branch. I love the website and have just seen and heard the interview. Next Challenge the Great North Run 21st September 2003."
