It sounds like a myth but it does - and we've found it on Walney Island.

The Walney geranium

The renowned Walney geranium is apparently so rare, it's only found on Walney Island.

There's a lot said about it, but, obviously, there are only certain times of the year you can see it.

Well that time is now (summer) and the best guide you can possibly get is Walney's very own John Murphy, who takes great delight during his regular guided walks in pointing out this special flower...
