Join Ranger Hamza on an epic African adventure! Travel to Kenya, a country in Africa, where over 25,000 kinds of animals live as Hamza spends time both out in the wild and at two Kenya-based wildlife sanctuaries. Working alongside the animal keepers, feeding zebras, weighing animals, and meeting incredible animals, each with their very own story to tell.

Hamza Yassin is a wildlife cameraman and better known to CBeebies viewers as Ranger Hamza. He is passionate about fostering a love of nature and the planet in children. 

Ranger Hamza has been on many adventures with CBeebies, bringing children up close with animals in their natural habitat.

Children aged 3–6 are naturally curious, emotionally open and eager to understand the world around them, while still needing reassurance from trusted adults. The series will appeal directly to this stage of development by combining exciting real animals with gentle, relatable storylines about feelings, friendship and confidence. With Hamza as a calm, caring guide and animals voiced by children, the series feels safe, playful and engaging, helping preschoolers learn through warmth, wonder and reassurance.

A wildlife sanctuary is a protected place where animals live in a natural environment with space to move freely and behave as they would in the wild. Rescued animals are cared for by trained staff, who provide food, medical care, and a safe setting where they can recover, thrive, and live more independently than in a zoo.
