What are Talavera tiles?

Talavera is a city () in central Spain.

It has been known since the 15th century for its creative patterns in ceramics.

Traditionally hand-painted, no two tiles () are ever the same.

  • an A4 sheet of thin card ()

  • a pair of safety scissors ()

  • coloured pencils ()

  1. Print out () the template () onto an A4 sheet of thin card.

  2. Colour in () the tile using lots of different colours ().
