This week’s Trunk of Funk comes from The Womack Sisters, carrying forward one of soul music’s most celebrated family legacies while forging a sound all their own. Daughters of the late Cecil Womack and nieces of soul legend Bobby Womack, the sisters grew up surrounded by great music and have continued the family tradition with rich harmonies, heartfelt songwriting and a deep love of soul, funk and R&B.
