Hello. I'm Michelle and this is Tiny Happy People at Home.
I've got some great films, all about games that are easy to set up and play with your child at home.and they're full of learning tips too! From throwing fun to a teddy bears' picnic. These games will give you inspiration for staycation activities. And what better way to start off than with an indoor treasure hunt?
An indoor treasure hunt is easy to set up and play with your child at home. All you need are some of their favourite toys and for them not to peek. It's a fantastic way to have fun together. And you can bring all the family in if you want to. It's also a great way to develop their attention and listening skills. You can take it in turn hiding and finding the toys and when it's your little ones turn to be in charge and encourage them to give you clues about where the toys are hidden.
Fun and learning at the same time.
Now on to game number two: a teddy bears' picnic.
Children love pretend play games. They're fun and they're fantastic for the communication and talking skills and great for their imagination, too. And it doesn't matter if you don't have a tea set your own plates and cups are just as good as long as you can play with them safely with your child. And when it's time to play, let your child lead the game. They can tell you what's on the menu and who's invited. Teddy bears and siblings; everyone's welcome.
Now it's time for game number three. And we're stepping up the energy this time for throwing game.
Setting up a throwing game is easy to do at home, just work with the space that you have. You can use a buckets or boxes for different-sized targets and rolled up socks for throwing balls. It's a great game for their concentration and their focus. And talk all the while that you're playing and make sure to praise their throwing skills. Three games that easy to play at home. That are not only fun, but full of learning for your child. If you haven't already, check out even more great content on the Tiny Happy People website.
