Buy Andy Capp for Children in NeedOne of only two miniature Andy Capp figures based on the statue which stands proudly on Hartlepool's Headland has been auctioned to raise money for BBC's Children in Need. The miniature Andy Capp figure has raised £1200 for Children in Need. It is one of just two solid bronze 5 inch figures made by Shropshire artist Jane Robbins who created the Andy Capp statue which was unveiled on Hartlepol Headland in June of this year.
