FeaturesYou are in: Suffolk > Entertainment > Music > Features > Zutons added to Forest line-up ![]() Zutons, Latitude 2006 Zutons added to Forest line-upThe Zutons are returning to Suffolk to play at the High Lodge Visitor Centre at Santon Downham on Thursday 5 June 2008. The line-up for the summer also includes Status Quo, KT Tunstall, Tom Baxter, Katherine Jenkins and Crowded House. The Zutons supported REM at Portman Road in 2005 and were one of the bigger acts to appear at the first Latitude Festival in 2006. Since then guitarist Barnie Chowdury has left, but they've been raking in the royalties following the Amy Winehouse/Mark Ronson version of their hit Valerie. They're recording their third album in Los Angeles with producer George Drakoulias. Tickets for the Thetford Forest show are £26 and they go on sale on Friday 22 February. KT TunstallTunstall Forest might have been the perfect location, but KT will be at the High Lodge Visitor Centre arena on Friday 6 June 2008. Tickets are £27.50 (plus booking fee). Ms Tunstall's latest album Drastic Fantastic is the follow-up to her four-million selling debut Eye To The Telescope. Support comes from Suffolk's rising star - Bungay's Tom Baxter. The singer/songwriter's re-signed to a major label and has been in the charts with his album Skybound and in the singles chart with Better - which was also featured in the Simon Pegg film Run, Fat Boy, Run. Crowded HouseAfter a string of hits including Weather With You and Don't Dream It's Over, Crowded House split in 1996. Neil and Tim Finn reformed the band in 2007 and put out the Time On Earth album. ![]() Crowded House The current line-up also includes bassist Paul Seymour, keyboard player Mark Hart and drummer Matt Sherrod who replaced the late Paul Hester. They band appear at the High Lodge Visitor Centre, Santon Downham on Thursday 10 July. Tickets for Crowded House are £30 (plus booking fee) and they go on general sale from Friday 8 February 2008. Katherine JenkinsMs Jenkins will be performing with the National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Anthony Inglis on Saturday 12 July 2008. The mezzo soprano released her fifth album Rejoice in time for the Christmas 2007 market. She's sold three million albums worldwide. Katherine has just finished a very successful Viva La Diva theatre tour alongside ballerina Darcy Bussell and it'll be moving to the UK's arena's in April/May 2008, but the Thetford Forest show is a solo effort. Blue fir youStatus Quo have rocked their way through four decades - and with the announcement of a gig at Thetford Forest in 2008, they are showing no signs of putting down their guitars yet. The rock icons - who have sold more than 118m records - were the first group to be revealed for the summer line-up and will play on Saturday 7 June 2008. The band are expected to still be promoting their latest album, released earlier this year, self-mockingly titled In Search Of The Fourth Chord. The announcement came as the band were in the middle of a two-night stint at the Ipswich Regent. Early announcementMusic fans have been making their way to gigs through the country's biggest lowland forest for around 10 years, but the Status Quo concert was the earliest announcement of a show that the organisers have made. ![]() Parfitt and Rossi "It's down to a well-oiled machine," said Roger Woods, who's the marketing and communication manager for the Forestry Commission in East Anglia. "The process starts from when the last concerts have finished." The programme is for six concerts at the High Lodge venue. There's just one date left to fill now - Friday 11 July - so watch this space. "We had a great start with Status Quo and the other acts will be similar to what people have come to expect from us," said Mr Woods.
