Children In Need

Men shaving their eyebrows, teachers in the stocks and bank managers in baths of baked beans … it must be Children In Need time!

While it's a bit of fun for those who raise money, for people who benefit from it's far more important.

Disadvantaged families with young children in the Staffordshire Moorlands are benefiting through the Home Start organisation as Children In Need are funding a play leader for two days a week in Leek and Cheadle, during school holidays.

Otherwise isolated children can play together, make friends and have fun with others while giving parents a well-earned break for a few hours.
