AFC Telford sign former Wolves striker Adam Proudlock
Proudlock left Grimsby in June and had been training at Kidderminster
AFC Telford United have signed former Wolves striker Adam Proudlock on a short-term contract.
The 29-year-old, who left Grimsby in June, had been training with the Bucks for several weeks and scored a hat-trick in a friendly against Chasetown.
Proudlock, who lives in Telford, scored 13 goals in 71 appearances for Wolverhampton between 1998 and 2003.
Meanwhile, former Walsall defender Netan Sansara is training with the club in a bid to earn a contract.
Bucks boss Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire: "We've been in contact with Netan since May.
"He has tried to get himself a contract with a league side, but for whatever reason it hasn't happened. He's training with us now."
The 21-year-old defender made 27 appearances for Walsall before being released during the summer. He represented England at Under-18 and Under-19 levels during his time with the Saddlers.
He has recently been released after a short-term deal at Dundee.
"Netan is a very talented player. We'll take a close look at him and if he impresses then something may happen, but at this stage we're just looking," added Sinton.
Telford take on Stourbridge at the New Bucks Head in the FA Cup on Saturday with the Bucks boss reporting no injury problems.
