South African international forward Danelle Lochner has signed a new contract with Premiership Women's Rugby side Harlequins for the 2026-27 season.

The 28-year-old lock joined Quins in 2023 and has made 26 appearances so far, although missed almost four months of the season with a shoulder injury and returned to the pitch at the end of March.

Lochner has been capped 21 times by Springboks Women and was part of the side that reached the quarter-finals in last year's World Cup.

"We're delighted that Danelle has committed to Harlequins again ahead of the 26-27 season," said head coach Ross Chisholm.

"We've seen during her time at the club and in international colours, just how good of an operator she is. She is superb in the set-piece and an incredibly dynamic player in attack."
