Wales were beaten 14-0 by Canada in Neath as they count down to the Rugby League World Cup.
Tom Brindle's side were beaten by the visitors at the Gnoll after a Dani Franada opener and tries either side of half-time by Megan Pakulis.
Wales, who gave debuts to London Broncos' Jade Mullen and the Cardiff Demons trio of Zoe Heeley, Frances Layton and Sioned Young, could not break through a resolute Canada defence.
Ffion Lewis made her first Wales league appearance in five years and returned to the international stage for the first time since rupturing knee ligaments playing union in April 2023.
Wales will go up against hosts Australia, England and Samoa at the World Cup, which starts in October.
