He shifts onto the inside and then onto his favourite left foot, and fires the ball into the far corner. That's far too easy.

It's all been too easy for Man City it's been a stroll, it's been like a training game. It will interesting to see if Philippe Clement makes any changes at half time.

It's looking increasingly like Manchester City will host Brighton in the next round of the EFL Cup.

That will be back at the Etihad - or Carrow Road if Norwich can turn things around - in the week commencing 26 October.

Samba will remember tonight forever. It's a great moment for him, he's looked lively, he has gone and got his goal. This game is two second strings but Man City's second string is far superior to Norwich's.

That was the highlight of the first half and he looks like a young, confident player. I'm really pleased for him to get his goal and to get off the mark.

Bouaddi's role is to sit in there and break up the Norwich attacks - of which there haven't been very many - and just to keep things ticking over. And feed the ball to the likes of Cherki and Samba.

It's got the feel of a training game at this point.

Samba has taken up a good position on the left-hand side. It's fallen to his feet, a quick, clever turn and he's trying to get a shot off 16-yards out.

To bend that into the far top corner, he looks a live wire. But it's a bit of a training game at this moment in time.

Two goals in three minutes have undone this Norwich defence and you wouldn't be surprised to see more goals.
