Sam Hoskins has signed a new deal with Northampton Town.

The 33-year-old forward is the club's second-highest appearance-maker in history and sits fourth on the Cobblers' all-time goal-scoring list.

Hoskins joined Northampton in 2015 and has won three promotions with the club, scoring in the decisive match on each occasion.

"I am really pleased to be staying with Northampton Town," he told the club website.

"Everyone knows the affection I have for the club and how settled I am here, and I am as ambitious as ever to help the club move forward.

"I have had some good chats with the new manager and I am really excited about the future. It's great to have my future sorted and I am looking forward to returning and getting through plenty of hard work in pre-season."
