Wales midfielder Laura Hughes is relishing the chance to play club football in England after joining Women's Super League 2 side Southampton.
Australia-born Hughes, 25, announced last month that she was leaving Melbourne City.
Hughes has been capped once by Australia but switched allegiances to Wales last year and has made a promising start to life as part of Rhian Wilkinson's Welsh squad.
"I've wanted to play in England for a long time, it's a really competitive league so I'm looking forward to that new challenge with Southampton," Hughes said.

Hughes made her Wales debut in a friendly win over Switzerland last December.
After an injury lay-off, she then made two encouraging substitute appearances in the final two games of Wales' Women's World Cup qualifying group phase in June.
