Luton Town defender Christian Chigozie has signed a new contract with the League One club.

Chigozie made his senior debut for the Hatters in a Carabao Cup defeat by Coventry City in August before also starting a 4-1 victory over Barnet in the EFL Trophy the following month.

The 18-year-old has been at Kenilworth Road since joining the club as an under-7 and was also an unused substitute on a number of occasions when Luton were in the Premier League in the 2023/24 season.

"Christian has undeniable quality, but what stands out about him is his attitude. He is a leader, who I believe is going to have a top career," Luton head coach Jack Wilshere told the club website., external

Luton have not disclosed the length of Chigozie's contract.
