Chesterfield are in talks with veteran defender Kyle McFadzean about a new deal.

The 39-year-old made 43 appearances for the Spireites this season as they finished sixth in League Two before losing to Notts County in the play-offs.

Eleven players will be leaving the Derbyshire side, including defender Janoi Donacien, 32, midfielder John Fleck, 34 and striker Paddy Madden, 36.

Ashton Rinaldo, Jamie Grimes, Adam Lewis, Vontae Daley-Campbell, Bailey Hobson, Liam Jessop, Freddie Ladapo and Benjamin Hole have also been let go.
