Bristol City have taken up an option in defender Ross McCrorie's contract to keep him at the club until at least the end of next season.
McCrorie signed a three-year deal when he joined from Aberdeen in 2023 with the clause of an additional 12 months, but had been linked with a return to Scotland this summer.
The 28-year-old has made 89 appearances for Bristol City - 41 of those this season.
The Robins have also taken up an option in goalkeeper Lewis Thomas' contract to keep him at Ashton Gate to the summer of 2027.
No decision has yet been made on the futures of Sam Bell, Harry Cornick, Sam Morsy and Mark Sykes, who are all out of contract this summer, with a club statement saying discussions "will occur" when a new head coach is appointed.
Academy players Ephraim Yeboah, Josey Casa-Grande, Charlie Filer, Jack Hooper and Ruebin Sheppard have all been offered new deals to stay with the club.
