No league derby for Jersey Bulls and Guernsey FC

Guernsey and Jersey's players have only faced one another in the annual Muratti clash in recent years

There will be no Channel Island league derby in the Isthmian League next season, should Guernsey FC win promotion.
Jersey Bulls have been moved to the Isthmian League South Central division for the 2026-27 season.
The Jersey side reached the play-off semi-finals for the Isthmian League South East division this season, where they lost on penalties.
Meanwhile, the league has announced that should Guernsey FC win promotion they will compete in Isthmian League South East.
Guernsey face Peacehaven and Telscombe on Saturday, 23 May in their re-arranged Southern Combination Premier Division play-off final.
The Green Lions were relegated from Isthmian League South Central last season, having been part of that division since the 2021-22 campaign.
The two island clubs have never played a game against one another - however, many of their players will face each other on Saturday when they represent their respective island football association's sides in the annual Muratti Vase final at Springfield.
