Crawley Town have signed Charlton Athletic defender Ty Ewens-Findlay on loan for the season.

Ewens-Findlay, 19, is primarily a central defender but can play at full-back and also as a holding midfield player.

He joined the Addicks from Cambridge United last summer but has yet to make a senior appearance.

"Ty is very versatile, and can play in a variety of different roles across the defence and midfield if needed," Crawley Town head coach Colin Kazim-Richards told the club website.

"He is very athletic and gives us a lot of ability, so we are very pleased that he is with us for the season."

Along with his loan move Ewans-Findlay has also signed a new one-year contract with Charlton.
