Exeter sign midfielder Watts from Swansea on loan

Exeter have signed midfielder Dan Watts from Championship leaders Swansea on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old, who is yet to make a senior appearance for the Welsh club, will join the Grecians next month after he has fully recovered from an injury.
Watts has been with the Swans since the age of eight and signed his first professional contract in 2023. He has also featured for Wales from under-16 to under-21 level.
"He is currently injured and unavailable and undertaking his rehab with Swansea so won't join us for the next six to eight weeks," Exeter boss Taylor told the club website., external
"We are looking forward to what he can add to the midfield group and provide competition for places.
"We are delighted Swansea have trusted us with the next stage of his development – he is a player they have high hopes for, and we are looking forward to the impact he has with the squad."
The paperwork for the deal was completed before the transfer window closed at 23:00 BST on Tuesday but the move was only announced on Wednesday.
