Midfielder Max Sanders will leave Crewe Alexandra after turning down the League Two club's offer of a new contract.
The 27-year-old was among seven players considering fresh terms with the Railwaymen but will now move on as a free agent after two seasons at Mornflake Stadium when his deal expires at the end of June.
Sanders made 86 appearances, including 37 in the league last term, and scored three times - all in 2025-26 as the club finished 11th.
He missed a month with a hamstring injury in February before returning to play in all but two of the remaining games of the season as the club ended the campaign 11 points shy of the play-off places.
Crewe announced eight players were leaving at the end of their contracts last month with Lewis Billington, James Connolly, Stan Dancey, Luca Moore, Fin Roberts and Conor Thomas all offered new deals.
