Portsmouth captain Marlon Pack has signed a new one-year contract to remain at Fratton Park for the 2026-27 season.
The 35-year-old midfielder scored two goals in 34 league appearances during the past campaign as the south coast club retained its Championship status with an 18th-placed finish.
Pack started his career at Portsmouth and had spells at Cheltenham Town, Bristol City and Cardiff City before a return to his hometown club in 2022.
"It was an extremely straightforward decision for the club to offer Marlon a new contract and we're delighted that he's signed it," Pompey boss John Mousinho told the club website, external.
"He is an integral member of this squad and a massive reason why we both reached the Championship in 2024 and have since managed to remain there."
'Consummate pro every team desires' - analysis

Clearly, Marlon Pack has many attributes that might make him a good coach one day. However, that journey can wait for at least another year given his performances this season.
Pack played in 34 of Pompey's 46 league games this season, including starting all five of the crucial run from Good Friday which secured survival.
He's still in great shape and has always had excellent technical ability.
Another central midfielder is likely to be recruited this summer. But that doesn't mean Pack won't make another sizeable contribution next season. He's the consummate professional and homegrown player every team desires.
