Left-arm seam bowler Will Rogers has signed a short-term deal with Derbyshire until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old came through the youth ranks at Sussex before moving to Derby, but has yet to make his debut for the first XI.
He provides coach Mickey Arthur with more bowling depth for their final six County Championship matches with five first-team seamers currently sidelined due to injury.
Derbyshire are fifth in Division Two, 18 points adrift of the top two, and will be at home to Durham on 20 August.
