Callum Parkinson has signed a one-year contract extension to remain with Durham for the 2027 season.

Left-arm spinner Parkinson is currently in his third year with Durham since joining from Leicestershire and he is a regular in all three formats.

The 29-year-old has taken 14 wickets in Championship cricket this summer and scored a maiden first-class half-century.

"I am delighted to sign until at least end of next season, we've got a great group of players," he told the club website, external.

"I am really enjoying my cricket this season and excited to see where this team can go."
