Scorecard

The second one-day international between England and New Zealand at Northampton was abandoned without a ball bowled.

Play was scheduled to start at 13:00 BST but heavy rain delayed the toss until 15:30.

New Zealand captain Melie Kerr chose to bowl first but another downpour began shortly before play was set to start at 16:00.

The umpires held a further inspection but play was called off at 16:45.

England won a tense opener at Chester-le-Street by one wicket and the three-match series concludes at Cardiff on Saturday.

The series is followed by three T20s, the format in which the White Ferns are defending world champions.
